Glass stoppers are an elegant way to create an enclosed terrarium, particularly for jar or bell shaped terrariums.

Glass stoppers now come in four sizes: 8cm diameter, 10cm diameter, 12cm diameter and 15cm diameter. Spherical glass stoppers are a beautiful alternative terrarium lid. These glass balls have two small holes at opposite ends, simply place holes at the side for a completely enclosed terrarium, or in the up and down position to create a small amount of ventilation.

These clear glass stoppers for terrariums are hand blown and because they are clear, they allow far more natural light into your closed terrarium as opposed to an opaque lid such as cork. We find that having a clear glass stopper can help combat mould or mildew sometimes caused by lack of light.
