Birthday parties at Botanista
Do you have a child that loves nature and is curious about plants and gardening? Our terrarium parties may be just the ticket! We love nature play, and delight in holding children’s parties that encourage creativity but include a sneaky bit of science and learning.
Our children’s birthday parties currently cater for a minimum of 6 and up to 12 children with one accompanying adult. Generally parties go for an hour and the best thing is that each child gets to take home their own magical garden in glass!
We recommend parties for children aged 6 and up, but little siblings can join in with their accompanying parent as helper.

Our terrarium parties are our most popular parties, but if you have something different in mind, we’d love to hear your ideas and help to bring them to life. Private workshops
If you would like a private workshop held for your group, we would love to host you! We just require a minimum of 5 participants. You can choose from our many workshop options – cost per participant is the same as a regular workshop. We are able to discount participant cost by 10% for groups of 10 or more. Please contact us with your requirements, group size, workshop request and preferred dates and times and we will check availability.
Of course, if your group is smaller than our minimum requirement of 5 participants, you may like to make use of our DIY Terrarium Bar.
Hire our workshop room
Our workshop room is beautifully decorated as a ‘secret garden’ and is perfect for small meetings, book groups or your own workshop hire. Trestles and stools are included in all hire. Our rates are very reasonable and availability is generally high through the week.
